Social Security for the first time exceeds 3.5 million foreign affiliates in terms of average affiliation and also reaches a new maximum in the seasonally adjusted series, which exceeds 3.4 million.

The Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration, through the State Secretariat for Migration (SEM), has signed a framework agreement with the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) to strengthen local policies for the integration and inclusion of foreign people, promote intercultural coexistence and prevent and combat racism, xenophobia and other forms of intolerance.

The Minimum Vital Income (IMV) has reached 879,225 households in July in which 2,682,646 people live, according to the latest statistics published by the National Institute of Social Security (INSS).

A total of 353,009 people of Ukrainian nationality presented residence documents in force in our country as of June 30, 2026, which means a year-on-year growth of 8.2%, with 25,675 people more than in June 2025, driven mainly by residence permits for temporary protection.

The indicator of days quoted to the Social Security has increased by 18.1% from 2019 to March 31, 2026. If the actual days quoted are taken into account, the increase is 15.6%, according to the latest statistic published today by the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration.
